TRAiT(s)

TRAIT(s) is an essay in a graphic circus. It is the final part of a triptych aimed at young audiences, offering a contemporary take on three circus fundamentals: the body, the family and the circle. Inspired by the works of painters Joan Miro and Vassili Kandinsky, TRAIT(s) features a circus performer on a Cyr wheel. In form and content, from apparatus to circular public address, this show explores the circle in order to explore what circus is all about. In the rhythm of the gush of shapes and colors, under the action of the apparatus, circus movement is written and drawn. TRAIT(s) is a show in which art is the material.
