Marine Mane completed her studies in performing arts at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, and then at the National Drama Centre in Reims where she also founded the company In Vitro in 2012. A recipient of Beaumarchais, Dicréam, and SACD grants, her transdisciplinary career is present across various art scenes which are as diverse as her influences and practices (dance, music, theatre, circus, photography). Growing up in the suburbs, the multicultural environment and the multitude of languages she encountered in childhood, and the challenges they imposed, incited her to set up a research programme called "Laboratoires de Traverse". By placing the experimentation at the heart of the creative act, she devotes herself to a long-term process that focuses on traces, imprints and margins, as postulates of transformation and liberation. Her company is supported by national and regional (Grand Est) funds for dance and theatre. In the capacity of an associated artist, she has been collaborating since 2019 with various performing arts venues.
