Thanatos – When Society Chooses Death

Thanatos is a performance created in 2011, twelve years after the official end of the war on the territory of Yugoslavia. It involved four war veterans and two young contemporary dance artists. During this workshop, participants will engage in a unique reconstruction process, uncovering the key elements of the performance, as well as the ideas and information on which it was based. This will also be an opportunity for them to reflect on their own views on the war that lasted from 1991 to 1999.
