A prominent Turkish State Theatre artist with nearly 30 years of experience, Kadri Özcan seamlessly bridges stage performance, opera direction, and festival leadership. Özcan is founder of Tiyatro Libra and former Regional Director of Trabzon State Theatre, who crafts high-impact, modern performance art.
He is a resident artist at Ankara State Theatre and former Regional and Artistic Director of Trabzon State Theatre. Özcan served as Festival Director and Artistic Advisor for major events, including the International Black Sea Theatre Festival, Bursa International Festival, İTÜ Art Days, and Ataşehir Theatre Festival. Directs for Tiyatro Libra, Ankara State Opera (Don Giovanni), and international stages. Author of 30+ plays (M-0028, Re-Medea). He also works as an actor in TV (Sandık Kokusu) and films. Kadri Özcan is recipient of Direkler Arası and Yeni Tiyatro awards.
Özcan obtained MFA title in Performing Arts at Atatürk University (2023).
