The play "Singing Youth," authored by Judit Böröcz, Bence György Pálinkás, Máté Szigeti, examines the issue of building the national stadium, Puskás Arena, in Hungary. This stadium replaced the former People's Stadium in the same location, which was dedicated to the people themselves, not the (Hungarian) nation. Produced by the Contemporary Art House Trafó in Budapest, the play can be described as a kind of choral theatre, with its songs actually being excerpts from political speeches. The local audience reacted positively to the performance and engaged in a discussion with the authors for about two hours after the show.
