This year's edition of Bitef will be held from October 3rd to 10th in Belgrade, and the audience can expect nine performances in the main programme. Among them are award-winning European plays, bold theatrical outings by increasingly successful young forces, as well as the best of domestic theater production.

Promotional ticket sales will begin on Wednesday, August 30th at 7 p.m. On that day, tickets will be available at a special discount of 20% at the After Work Matinee organized by Bitef and the Kišobran collective at the Sprat bar at Cetinjska Street No.15, as well as via the festival website.

After that, online ticket sales at the aforementioned 20% discount will last until September 10th at 11:59 p.m. After that date, tickets will be available on the festival website at a 10% discount. In this way, Bitef additionally wants to popularize online ticket sales as a practice that reduces printing and creating unnecessary waste, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment.

From September 11th, tickets will be available at regular prices at the Bitef box office. This year, the box office will be opened in the festival press center, on the first floor of the MTS hall, on Nikola Pašić Square. In the period between September 11- 30th, it will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (every day, except Sundays), while between October 2-10th, the office will be open at the same time, both on weekdays and weekends.

Strength, Don’t Let Yourself Be Anyone’s

Under the slogan "Strength, Don’t Let Yourself Be Anyone’s", the audience of the 57th Bitef will have the opportunity to see performances from Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Sweden, Greece, Burkina Faso, Belgium, and Serbia in the main programme.

The festival has traditionally been supported by the Secretariat for Culture of the City of Belgrade and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, the Goethe Institute, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the Embassy of Greece. New Moment New Ideas Company, the festival's creative agency, is a partner and friend of Bitef. Festival partners this year are Generali Insurance Serbia, Erste Bank a.d. Novi Sad, as well as friends of the festival Coca-Cola Hellenic Serbia, 1664 Blanc and Somersby, Rajićeva Shopping Center, Alma Quattro, Info media group, and Halo Creative team.

Starting this year, Bitef's club of friends also joined the programme "Each Can Counts". With our joint efforts, we will encourage visitors to venture boldly into recycling and make their contribution to environmental protection, both during the festival and throughout the year.
