The first day of the weekend, October 7th, at Bitef was marked by a Lithuanian opera performance titled "Sun and Sea." Rugilė Barzdžiukaitė, Vaiva Grainytė, and Lina Lapelytė placed the story of climate change, environmental disasters, and capitalism on a beach, specially set up for this occasion at the Art Pavilion "Cvijeta Zuzorić."

Four sold-out performances on Saturday were followed by a discussion with the authors, amidst the props and sand. Additionally, as part of Bitef's side program Polyphony, the audience could also enjoy the play "Little Girls". See how it all looked in our gallery.
