Siniša Ilić (born in Belgrade in 1977) is a visual and performance artist whose practice includes performance space design. His work revolves around exploring social tensions, whether in relation to sustainability, cultural heritage, conditions of labor or migrations, as well as finding ways to nurture friendship and solidarity. Ilić participates in a range of collaborative projects and is one of the co-founders of TkH (Walking Theory) art and theory platform (2000-2017). He showed his works at: Kunsthalle, Welt Museum, Vienna; Tate Modern, Calvert 22, London; Georges Pompidou Center, Kadist Art Foundation, Paris; MAXXI Museum, Rome, Ural biennial, Yekaterinburg, Lofoten art festival, Norway; MOCA Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana; CZKD, National Theatre, Atelje 212, Belgrade, SNG, Ljubljana, ZKM, Zagreb… His curatorial work includes co-curation with Bojan Đorđev and Maja Mirković Scene Work Ahead, Serbian exhibition at Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, 2019. http://sinisailic.blogspot.com
