Iris Raffetseder is part of the leading dramaturgy collective of Wiener Festwochen. After the theatre, film and media studies, romance languages and literature studies, and a master in dance and dramaturgy in Vienna, Paris, Nice, and Frankfort / Main, she has been working since 2014 for Wiener Festwochen in collaboration with various programming directors, since 2021 as head of dramaturgy, with a focus on theatre, performance, and dance curation. In the context of her work for Wiener Festwochen as well as freelance, she has been collaborating with numerous international and Viennese artists to accompany artistic creation. Constant reflections on dramaturgy and future festival-making are inherent to her work.
