Milena Vasić, actress:

I’m overwhelmed. This is a truly good performance - an extraordinary experience. I was in a dilemma whether to come or not but now I know that I would’ve made a mistake had I decided not to. The actress in the leading role is fabulous. So sincere with those tears in her eyes right from the start, it’s truly stunning. I can’t remember the last time I saw a performance that involved the audience so much. There was this moment: after committing adultery, she is looking the audience straight in the eye - it was interesting to observe women and see who of them has cheated and who has been cheated on.

Nikita Milivojević, director:

First of all, I liked the performance. I think it is simple in a nice way, intertwined with a subtly refined emotion. And so we’re back to the basics: when the story is riveting, it manages to capture the audience. But, in order to capture the audience, it has to have good actors. Nataša, Barbara and this young man in the role of Ali are truly exceptional. I think we’re always pleasantly surprized to see that actors from Ljubljana come with such enviable transformations. I’m very happy that I’ve seen this performance. It communicates very well with this year’s slogan.

Hana Rastoder, student:

I was sitting near the bed, very close to those two people’s intimacy. I found it interesting to observe how people pretended that nothing was going on.

This is a performance about immigrants but it transcends the time. I liked it a lot. Very suggestive and emotional, very scenic. It has fulfilled my expectations.

An intriguing performance, I’m thrilled. We’ve been dragged out of our comfort zone, and you could see that in the audience, they were unsure of how to react. It only points out at what kind of theatre we’ve gotten used to.
